A sewage plant renovated their valves in October 2024, and the new iron casted valves have seirous leakage problem, which caused water quality can't meet the standard.The owner temporarily used sealing material to seal the entire gate valve. The gate valve can't be functional due to the sealing solution.
TVD engineers visited the site and evaluated the whole process, suggested to use stainless steel 304 gate valve as replacements.
Due to the hostile on-site working conditions, many challenges were encountered during the disassembly and installation process (such as ensuring the operation of the sewage plant during construction, leakage of water pipes and walls, high water level in the well and etc.), but TVD engineers had successfully compled the valve replacement and solved the leakage problem, relied on their rich experience and efficient response capabilities, used frogmen for plugging and other measures to solve technical difficulties one by one.
